Stephen M. Kass, In-house Legal Counsel
A practicing attorney for more than 47 years, Steve Kass has handled a wide range of real estate, corporate, business, consumer and construction matters and has served in litigation, negotiation and transactional fields. He has participated as lead counsel in over 150 jury and non-jury civil litigations, as well as numerous arbitration proceedings.
As a panelist for the California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), he teaches courses entitled “Real Estate Broker Liability,” “Real Estate Sales Contracts,” and “Real Estate Remedies.” He has served as a consulting editor on the California CEB book, and California Real Estate Sales Transactions. He is also on the faculty of Saint Mary’s College of California, where he teaches real property law for paralegals.
Steve has also served as General Counsel to a local bank for 20 years, to a local title insurance company for over 15 years and in an ongoing capacity to various Bay Area real estate firms. He received his undergraduate education at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island (BA 1961) and his JD from Boston University School of Law (1965).

Tammy McNaught, Property Management
Since 2008, Tammy has been President and Managing Member of Bancal Property Management, the company William Baner founded in 1985. She took the reins after 10 years spent honing her boutique approach that today accounts for the company’s expansive success in operating over 42 buildings and homeowner associations in San Francisco County.
